Case Study:
Hill Country Place
Nestled in the hill country region of San Antonio, Texas, Hill Country Place was developed on 12 of the 54 acres purchased. To preserve its natural setting, Place Properties Development Services LLC, a Place Properties affiliate, worked with the City of San Antonio’s park department to use the remaining acreage for a regional park and trail system. Beyond the City requirements, the Hill Country Place site plan was able to include large areas of natural trees on the interior and perimeter of the community, allowing unobstructed views of nature. Through the partnership with the city’s park department, Hill Country Place was allowed direct access to the University of Texas at San Antonio’s regional nature trail from the community.
